$163.58 (-$4.07)

Bottom 2, so tantalizing, so vulnerable.

Here we go again, two tables

Table 1

(KJo) No clubs. Happy to see cards for cheap, and the wrong 7 came on the river.

(JTo)

(22) Do you like a call pf? Trying not to be roty

+1

(Kd3d) Didn’t get there and top pair wasn’t good.

(K7) Somewhat calculated donkage. Really thought the bet would take it down, but figured if I got caught, it was for half a buyin, and I could leverage the table image it would create. Now I gotta do that.

(AK) And here’s me doing that. Not sure it was worth it, but maybe is if you take into account that sometimes they fold to that first shove.

$9 --> $5.60

Table 2

(33) Can’t get paid on the set.

AA takes down the blinds while AQo gets 4 callers and misses to the same raise.

(KK) I forgot my rule that people don’t lay down after a pf rr, I should have just shoved.

(A4) I think I got max value here

This is dumb, I’m getting used to losing and it’s begetting losing. I’ve got to pull back from Cake a bit, I think.

12/14

Quick session while the kids game.

TABLE 1

(AQo) My fucking life on Cake right now. I swear I can’t even count the number of times in the past two weeks where I’ve potted with AQ, missed, c-bet, and been raised. Frequently fucking min-raised where I have legit odds to call and chase the overcard. SO FUCKING ANNOYED.

$4 --> $3.35

TABLE 2

(99) Flush draws seem to hit like they are fucking magnetized. My current state has me wanting to lead out or call on that turn, but it’s just not worth it. So often, it’s the flush draw that got there that I’m not going to try and snap off a bluff.

(KK) FUCK ME.

(A9o) FUCK ME HARDER. Yes it was a frustration shove. Dock a buck from me for actual bad play, OK? Fucking hell.

$4 --> $0

Clara is sleeping, Ollie is up wth me and he’s Live Arcading it again.

TABLE 1

(88)

(77) That felt so good right now.

(QQ) Had to slow down with the ace, but hey they weren’t cracked. Villain had TT.

(QQ) Holds up against a ss shover.

(99) I’ve mostly been playing my nemesis hand like it was 44, but here I play it like QQ pf and manage to v-bet my set in the face of a possible flush on the river.

$4 --> $9.69

TABLE 2

(97c) Would have gone away to pressure, but had to bet the ass end and see.

(JTo) If I wasn’t going to go with top pair there, I’m not sure why I called the pf raise, but I finally LOSE some Sklanski bucks by making the wrong play and finding out I would have lost. Or, as we like to say in Jasonland,.

Limp/call with QTs in position, flop top pair and take it down with a pr of a mb.

(98c) hp-raised a minbet when the flop came AQx w/two clubs to find out where I stand, then got bet off the draw on the turn when he moved in for a little more than the pot.

(QQ) Oh man, this was bad. I needed to bet that turn. Don’t hate me for my play here, Marsh. I just thought one of them had to have an ace, but I totally blew that hand, had my attention split.

(AJs) He sucks out for the chop but I freeroll into the counterfeit redraw.

$4 --> $5.33

46 Hands

Happy to leave with a profit from both tables, very important for my Cake psyche right now.
