$161.10 (-$4.00)

(J9o) This is CLASSIC flush draw behavior from the villain, so I fold to the .75 on the river despite the pot odds. The T and K don’t help either. This is one of those folds where I had to consciously ignore the money to make the right play. “It’s only $.75,” is what I started to think. Once I framed it as “It’s nearly a quarter of a buyin and you are beat 90% of the time, here,” it was an easy fold.

(KJo) I hated the pf call the second I made it, and that’s exactly why. Textbook example of why “they” say not to play easily-dominated hands to a raise. The flop came K high, and I was like, “See? That’s why it was a terrible call. Now you have to go all the way with this hand because of the general quality of play at this level, but he’s likely to turn over a better king.” Maybe I just should have accepted the $.14 mistake and just folded to the pot bet on the flop, though.

Well, I’m done for now, that was pretty stupid. Find it within you to fold KJo to a frickin’ raise, Ryan.
