(K9d) In the challenge, I’ve been slowplaying more on fairly dry boards like this; I figure it’s a good time to experiment with different plays. I’m at the upper edge of a level I’m beating, where a full buy is only 2% of my roll. I like the flop check but I should have bet the turn.
(AQo) 2/2 on AQo in the new year! That was a tough call, AK with the Kc told a good story there.
(JJ) Went back to betting the set, but got no action.
(Q9h) I didn’t think teeslice had it, he’s a big semibluffer maniac type according to my notes. Turn was easy to get away from though.
(A7d) See that? Crap. That’s the thing about semi-bluffs, though…the semi comes through sometimes.
Man, bummer of a run, I was up near $12 at one point, back down to $6.81. Table is breaking up and I need a break anyway…
$4 --> $6.81
67 Hands
(A8d) Maybe I should have overbet the river, figuring that anyone who could call .70 could call 2.Villain had 85.
(AJo) Check-call was the river plan for sure.
(A8s) A gamble; I knew where I was at, and it seemed close enough to ev-neutral to go with it.
$4 --> $5.78
54 Hands
