1/3 Results

$209.63 (+$2.33)

Two-tabling .05/.10 with full buys.

Table One

(AQ) Wow, the first time all year AQ failed me! I don’t understand, I thought we had a new arrangement.

(QQ) I wait for the river to get villain’s last .02 in, for style points.

(99) What is with these fuckers who can’t lay down ace high to a pot bet on the flop? I wish they would miss the turn more….

(66) I play the role of steamy guy, and the same douche calls me with A8o. In results land he’s not bad off, but in decision land, that’s terrible. Justice is served.

Table Two

(K5o) A bb special that wasn’t special enough.

(AA) The guy snap-shoved after I three bet preflop. Wish I’d bought up…

(JJ) Quagland is really starting to tick me off. He’s been super loose calling station guy, and I can’t get paid in position on him…

(KJs) No callers on the river v-bet, but a nice pot anyway.

I bet a flush draw on the button in a limped multiway and get back to even on the takedown.

(AA) That is raw. Tough fold, but I asked, he answered (no Ad for me).

(A9s) A game of guts on this one. Didn’t seem like he had a K or a T. I think we were chopping, but he couldn’t call the shove without a boat.

(93o) A BB special that stays special. Good to see the tendencies to call with two overs around here actually backfire on someone…

Looking at your post your opponents play does not seem that donkish. There are guys chasing 2 overs but heck we do that all the time in WNP. The bluff callers seem to be gone at this level. Even the guy that shoved on you with AK when you had AA is not that bad a play, I know you and I have both shoved big stacks with AK.

I seem to do best at Omaha 8 and the play of my opponents never seems to get that good at all the levels that I have tried. Have you came to a conclusion as to what is more profitable, O8 or Hold'm?

Did I call someone a donk, or are you just assessing opponent play?

I haven't played enough Omaha to make a statistically relevant comparison...

You called someone a donk.

quote me, please.

FWIW, I think it's pretty obvious that *everyone* on Cake who sucks out on me is a donk, just like everyone on the outside of my car when I'm driving is a fucking idiot.

btw I agree with both comments on the cake players and the car drivers.

I called them fuckers, and one guy a douche, but I called nobody a donk.

Well Jason doesn't say that you called someone a donk anyway. He says that you are implying that they are donkish. Which you did. And they are.

Three times in short succession (I only posted the third--the “fuckers” hand), my pot-bet flop pair was done in by a turned overcard from a caller with two overs, and I bitched about it. Jason translated that into me calling all my opponents in the post donks (at least, he implied that by defending my opponents as non-donks), and I had to push back on that.
