(AQs) AJ was the one hand I was worried about, but I got some payback for the rough beats I've suffered lately. And I don’t think I can fold the AQ there without a book on the villain at .02/.04. Tough call, but is that guy going all the way if that's a 7 on the flop instead of a jack, or if he has AT? Yes, I think he is.
(99) I shouldn't have bothered raising with 99 here. The table is extremely loose (see the showdown hands; notes all around!), so I'm going to get callers and will need to flop a set or 832r or something. From EP and MP at a loose table, I'm better off treating 99 like 44 and getting paid on a set. Tilton establishes himself as the donk of the table with that play.

After a week of floating around the $185 mark, do you have a good grasp of the reason for the stagnant trend? I'm just curious what your thoughts are. I don't think there's another example of this over your and Marshall's cake challenge posts. I'm fascinated by how the $190 mark is so elusive, after having such a good run up to now…

It's a mix of bad luck and bad play, for sure, but hard to say how much of either.
I do feel like, even with my bad play, I've been making generally +EV decisions, and have just had one of those runs (which gets even worse with my next update, coming shortly).
Of course, that bad play continues in that update as well...
