11/6 Results II

$135.88 (+$6.82)

NLHE

I love it when I win a hand with brute force (JdTd) and no showdown, and it is immediately followed by a monster. Granted, he had QQ, I was getting action anyway, but the preflop callers before QQ popped it were all about the previous hand.

(KsTs) Not the turn I was looking for.

I’m such a donk. I knew it was a –EV call, but I decided to boat chase anyway. Totally a stakes call, I wouldn’t orange belt on what I knew was a boat draw at significant stakes.

I should be cashing out down this session…I’ll remember that next time I’m cashing out down when I should have been cashing out up.

$4 --> $10.82

At least you are boat drawing with a set and not two pair. I don't mind the call. Sure the guy had the nuts but what is the total range of hands that you were up against that you were still ahead of? Pocket 9s who had an open ender then thinks he got lucky? QJ two pair slow playing then belatedly trying to get his money in good? Ax of Spades? Etc. Obviously EV- hand against the specific hand. Not sure how it is against a reasonable range.
