Check out this string of wins by uber-jerk/uber-donk twoodsfan, including cracking my KK:
(KK) Oh, come on.
Wow.
Even wower. Loser had A7.
Trash talking after each one, too. Charming!
lol, I try to steal and price myself into a call instead, and villain gets mad props for essentially calling off his stack with bottom pair:
Canadair1: vnh
keithr70: ty
Canadair1: datz sweet poker
Maybe I’ll get some notes: “d0nk called an all in with K9, no pair no draw.”
+$1
(52s) Jimwey had a target upon arrival based on my notes.
(55) When sets pay. Aces full is obviously in range, here, but I know the villain’s range includes any ace so I’m obviously not folding. I note the villain’s quality-of-ace he goes to the mat with (A7o). That is an important thing to note at microstakes: is this someone who will call a pf raise with ace-junk off, and then go to the felt with an ace-high board?
(AQs) Life is a lot easier when AQ cooperates and just hits.
(spainR) I don’t usually misplay the spainR like this.
(QQ) Pesky jack slowed me down and probably cost me the rest of villain’s stack; if “she” took it that far with A5o, she would probably have put in the rest of it.
Well, my luck and my play improved this session, and I got back on track.
$5 --> $12.31
