(QJ94hh) First hand. Top-two is pretty strong, here (three pair even better). I like that it reduces the chance of top or second set, and has overpairs beat. Worth a strong bet, and I back into a straight. Villain had KT, was drawing to an open-ender, generally a bad play with a two-suited board.
(Kh Th Td 8s) On the flop, I draw to an open-ender on a two-suited board. But I was capping the action three-way, getting 4:1. With six clean outs to the nuts, I have to be right about my read of the implied odds to continue. It was basically correct, although he manages to fold on the end; I think he was chasing a naked flush draw.
I take down an uneventful flop with AAKJds, one of my better starting PLO hands ever.
(Ad Ks 7s 7c) Tough fold for me, and as it turned out, terrible. I gave them way too much credit, folding the best hand and the best draw. I assumed a set, though, leaving me drawing to just the flush. Never mind those pesky results.
(8765ds) Bah, got sucked out on with the runner-runner counterfeit. This hand is a good example of why I've been gravitating to PLO over O8. I can play a hand like that and not have it be a mistake. And only one set of nuts and draws to be concerned about.
What kind of pot odds do you need to call a river bet with the nut-low flush? I almost folded, but there you go.
36 hands later, these three come consecutively:
(QQ92dd) I'm not usually that aggressive with a hand like this. But then I flop top set! And get the worst turn evar.
(KKT4hh) Normally I'm done with a paired flop that missed like that, but a probe bet only got a call, so I bet again.
(AA62ss) Ouch. I felt good on the turn despite random two-pair potential, and charged the max for the draw. Ouch, I thought that was a good river for me at first. We were actually coin flipping.
I tilted off a few bets after that, and all my hard-earned sugar was gone.

Flopped top two, and felt like the villain was calling on a flush draw. Turn brings a straigh draw that slows me down a bit, but I boat up on the river and get paid off by the sucker end of the straight (AA42hh), which explains his flat call on the turn.
Got a short stack all in on a flush draw, but he hit it and I'm under the sugar line again.
I get notched on a flush and am down a bit more.
Down to three handed, I move to a fuller table.

There appears to be a large-rolled maniac at this table. Figure I'll double up or bust quickly, here.
Scratch that, he's let off the gas.
Scratch that, he's still pretty f'in loose. CRAP. He was so behind...
Heh, our maniac in action again, taking down AA88ds with T752ds. And then he leaves.
(AAKQcc) How do you extract max value, here? It would be easier in position.
I win a few hands that aren't worth linking, and get my stack up to $11.60
(Ac Qs Tc Td) I don't check-raise much in PLO, but top set and nut flush draw with the villain in position as the pf aggressor, it seemed lilke the time for it.
Grrr, several frustrating hands in a row where I flop good and have to fold to an apparent outdraw, all to the same villain. I bleed off $5 in about six hands to him. I want it back.
OMG, what a donkey. He robs me blind, and I'm not saying I played this hand great, but how can he call that flop?! I really want my money back from this piece of crap, now. I reraised him knowing I had to have the best of it even though I was unlikely to improve without a flush.

FUCK ME. This is a frustrating beat, 87% when the money got in. And the first villain left with my cash.
+$9
FUCK! This time I was 67% when the money went in.

Underset. This is actually the first set over set I can recall all session. Maybe I should be able to get away from it facing the raise, but I didn't.
Fuck this, I am openly steaming with my final $2, and expect to lose it soon.
......aaaaaand done. Very frustrating session.

A sharp drop, but I'll make it back. They really suck at these tables.
